When should I take the SAT? It is recommended that you plan to take the SAT in May or June of your Junior year. If you would benefit from re-taking the test, you then have the option of doing so in the Fall of your Senior year.

At Jane Ross Personalized Tutoring we tutor study skills and have periodic study skills workshops where we cover such topics as how to get organized, how to take notes, how to study for tests, how to memorize, and more! For students in the Memphis/Shelby County area we offer both individualized and small group (2-3 students) tutoring for all grade levels and subjects. All of our tutors have teaching experience, and the subjects we tutor include the following:

English: grammar, reading, literature, and research and term papers including all AP courses
All Math: arithmetic, pre-algebra, algebra I & II, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, advanced math, and college algebra including all AP courses
All Foreign Languages: Latin, French, Spanish, Polish and German
All Sciences: physical science, biology, chemistry, and physics including all AP courses
All Social Studies: American history, world history, economics, geography, and civics including all AP courses

We have specialists for Elementary, Middle, and High School students, and in courses ranging from remedial to AP and dual enrollment college courses. All of our tutors are certified and have passed the same background checks as the state requires.
