This year Jane Ross Personalized Tutoring will be offering family consultations for students and their parents on all aspects of preparing for college.
Each session is $100 and minimum of three sessions is required.
Covered topics will include:
How to qualify for financial aid and scholarships
Which courses high school students should take
When to take the PSAT, ACT, and SAT and how to prepare
How to choose a college
How many colleges to apply to
How a student can enhance his chances of getting into the college of his choice
What the requirements are for high school athletes who hope to play college sports
Individualizing this information will allow us to address each student's particular needs and concerns. In the session students will receive a packet of information, suggested timetables for college planning, and helpful web sites and referrals to additional resourcesand specialists if necessary.
